Kathryn (Katy) began working for QISS in June of 2009. Katy graduated
from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a degree in Management
Information Systems.
After graduating, Katy began work for Mercer, a global company that
handles outsourcing of HR services. At Mercer, she was fortunate to work on one of their largest
client accounts, United Health Group. They managed health and benefits for close to 80,000 employees.
During her time with Mercer,
Katy trained new and existing employees on their applications,
maintained the database, was a mentor to new Mercer employees, and
received 10 Mercer SPOT awards (for going above and beyond her
responsibilities). Her experience at Mercer in database management and health care benefits
makes her a perfect fit for QISS’ claims management system.
 Katy
grew up in Baytown and met her husband Josh at Texas A&M. Josh proposed to Katy on THIS helicopter ride over the Frio River
in Concan, TX while on vacation with his family. Katy loves going to church, is a fan of Disney World, and loves
spending time with friends and family. She is an Aggie sports fanatic, has three dogs, Maggie, Avery,
and Blair, whom she considers her ‘children’, and enjoys watching her
HUSBAND do the cooking. She has a passion for the Martial Arts and was an assistant to a dojo in
Sugarland, TX. She is also one of the most pleasant people you will meet.
